Camp Marlin Doggie Daycare

Welcome to Camp Marlin Doggie Daycare!

Picture
My name is Marlin!
Camp Marlin Doggie Daycare was established in Gainesville in June of 2006 and was formerly known as Camp Wag-A-Lot, founded by Kelly Meyers over four years earlier.  Camp Marlin is owned by Ali Morton, a large animal veterinarian and Assistant Professor of Large Animal Surgery at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She named the daycare after her beloved yellow lab, Marlin. Doggie daycare, a fairly new concept, has been sweeping the nation. While you are away at work or school, your pup will be outside running free, lounging inside or cooling off in our pools, all while playing with a great group of other Campers and Camp Counselors for the day.

Camp Marlin is able to offer your dog plenty of shady outside "play ground" for your dog to enjoy with his or her doggie friends. This includes kiddie pools in the summer to cool off and lots of room to play fetch or catch a frisbee!

Camp Marlin also has an extra large inside area with central heating and air conditioning for your dog's comfort. This is where the dogs enjoy the more quiet parts of the day, and nap on our specialy designed pet cots or maybe even one of our Camp Counselor's laps.

During the day there are always multiple Camp Counselors around to supervise all of the dogs' play times and make sure everyone is getting along nicely. Our standards in safety and protection for your favorite canine are our top priority and are maintained and exceeded on a daily basis to ensure your pets utmost happiness and safety.

Doggie birthday parties, paw painting, ice-cream parties and more are all included in the Camp Marlin Doggie Daycare experience!
